This basic life support qualification will give a learner the knowledge and practical competence required to be able to provide crucial assistance to a casualty in an emergency until medical assistance arrives, potentially saving a life.
A range of subjects are covered including
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) • Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Primary Survey • Recovery position • Choking
The learner will attain knowledge and the practical competence required to deal with a range of basic first aid situations.
